“Such an amazing travel experience. I'm a person who really enjoys solo travel because it offers an opportunity to escape completely from my day-to-day and spend more time just by myself. But I always have the best time when I'm also able to connect with other like-minded travelers and feel a sense of community wherever I am in the world. El Camino offers you the chance to see an amazing part of the world with an amazing group of people, but the schedule is flexible enough that you're also able to have some time to yourself to explore on your own. I traveled with them to Colombia and had the best time - we saw some incredible sights, learned a lot about the culture and history of Cartagena and Medellín, ate delicious food, went out dancing, drank a lot of aguardiente (lol) and came away with a fresh perspective on the country. I couldn't recommend the experience enough, and I hope to do another El Camino trip sometime soon.”

“Between humanitarian relief in Puerto Rico last winter to a recent Colombia trip, I spent several weeks of my free time this year with El Camino and it was all 100% worth it. Their team expertly crafts unique experiences in Colombia that get to the heart of the country, cities, and most importantly the people. I'd been to Colombia probably 8 or 9 times and El Camino brought me to neighborhoods, dance halls (more like dance blocks!,) museums, culture and scenery I'd never come across. That the group your traveling with tends to be intrepid, curious, compassionate and fun is the icing on the cake. Hope my next trip with them is Cuba!”

“Our recent trip to Colombia was our second trip with El Camino, and it surely will not be our last! The care Katalina and her staff (Hey Paula!) take to make each trip impactful and meaningful goes beyond!
The small group travel El Camino curates attracts kind, open minded, & curious
travelers who , in our experience, have felt more like long lost friends than strangers upon meeting.
Itineraries are full of local changemakers, food, dance, creatives, and of course sightseeing without the common tourist traps, guides who feel like family, and a photographer to capture the moments so you can live them!
Allowing someone else to take care of the research and details while remaining dedicated to responsible tourism has left us with two of the most relaxing vacations we have ever been on.
So much love for this company and all they do!”

“After months of contemplating, I couldn't be happier I went on an El Camino trip last year to Colombia! As someone who loves to travel, it was so refreshing to simply book my flights, pack my bags, and go--not having to think about in-country accommodations, tours, and transportation. The trip was the perfect mix of curated & unique, scheduled experiences and free time. The local host and tour guides were awesome. All of the accommodations were comfortable. And every day we encountered Colombian culture in ways we would not have, had it not been for El Camino's thoughtful and intentional planning. If you are waiting for a nudge like I was, maybe this is it...I highly recommend this trip.”

“It's been over 2 weeks since I got back from Colombia with El Camino and I am literally still dreaming about the experiences I had and the people I met. This trip far exceeded my expectations. The country of Colombia is beautiful inside and out. I've been taking about 4-5 vacations a year for the past 7 years and my trip to Colombia with El Camino is hands down is my best trip I've taken to date. Our tour guide (Andres) and photographer (Jennifer) were amazing to say the least. I felt beyond taken care of by the two of them I NEVER felt unsafe. I have been recommending El Camino to all my friends and nearly every stranger I come across that talks about traveling. It's hard for me to imagine traveling without El Camino now.”
