NOVEMBER 2 - 7, 2026 LAGOS, NIGERIALagos Art Week
Five days built around Art X Lagos — West Africa’s leading international art fair.
About this trip
This trip is built around Art X Lagos and the week of programming that surrounds it — one of the most compelling events on the global art calendar right now. Over five days, you’ll move through Lagos’ gallery scene, artist studios, private collections, and cultural institutions with a team whose relationships and access in this world run deep.
It is intentionally small, and structured around the kind of access that isn’t available any other way.
Why This Trip
Women — and millennial and Gen Z women in particular — are the fastest-growing segment of art buyers globally. And yet the art world can still feel intimidating to enter, especially at the level of fairs, galleries, and acquisitions.
We believe the thing that makes the difference is education — and access to the right people. When you understand how to move through a fair, how to talk to a gallerist, how to think about a piece not just aesthetically but financially, the intimidation falls away. What's left is one of the most exciting, fast-evolving spaces in the world.
We built this trip to give more women the education, the access, and the confidence to walk into it and feel like they belong — because they do.

Your hosts
This trip is led by a team of art world insiders with deep roots in Nigeria’s cultural scene and far-reaching international networks — spanning major galleries in London and New York, one of Lagos’ most respected contemporary galleries, and years of work at the center of the international art marke
They move through this world with serious relationships, serious access, and a genuine commitment to how African art is understood and collected internationally. The programme is built for people who value depth and direct engagement with artists, institutions, and the communities that sustain this work.

Your experience starts before you board the plane. We’ll host two virtual sessions for all enrolled travelers:

Art and Your Financial Portfolio
How to think about collecting within a broader financial context, what to consider when buying work at or around a fair, and how to evaluate pieces with both personal and investment interest in mind.
