Prashant’s North Star
“Prashant channels his passions into trip design at El Camino—crafting journeys rooted in authenticity, exploration, and the transformative power of travel.”
Prashant Ashoka is a Singaporean-born writer, photographer, and global traveler who splits his life between Mexico and Paris, and serves as a Trip Designer for El Camino Travel. He’s a passionate explorer of food, culture, and off-the-beaten-path experiences—once spending two years backpacking across the world, journeying by yak across Kyrgyzstan, by reindeer sled through Siberia, and on foot through the mountains of Nepal.
His photography and short-form essays have appeared in T Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, Vogue, Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveller, and other international publications. He is also the creator of Casa Etérea, a mirrored eco-retreat in the highlands of central Mexico—a project that garnered widespread acclaim and was featured on the cover of Architectural Digest.
Bringing together storytelling, design sensibility, and deep global experience, Prashant channels his passions into trip design at El Camino—crafting journeys rooted in authenticity, exploration, and the transformative power of travel.
